- Basic activity: baking high-quality and natural bread according to ancient Latvian bread baking traditions, as well as the development of original confectionary items.
- The company has also opened retail shops and a café.
- In addition to product manufacturing, Lāči also offers exciting and unique events and recreational opportunities for children and adults during which they can learn about the ancient Latvian traditions of baking rye bread.
- Lāči has grown from a small bakery into a modern and stable company that employs around 200 people and bakes around 5 tonnes of bread per day.
- The ancient bread baking traditions are maintained at Lāči by 2 master bakers and 2 journeymen.
- Lāči currently offers over 15 types of bread and around 100 confectionary products. These can be purchased at Latvia's largest stores, as well as at Lāči retail locations.
- The best-known Lāči products are Real Rye Bread, Real Fine Rye Bread, Carrot Bread, fruit breads, walnut bread and cakes, as well as cookies and tortes.
